  • The State Ethics Commission has argued Gov. Mark Sanford is premature in trying to block the release of a preliminary investigation, and that the case should not be decided by the S.C. Supreme Court.

  • House Speaker Bobby Harrell asked the S.C. Supreme Court Monday to allow the S.C. House of Representatives to participate in Gov. Mark Sanford’s lawsuit against the state Ethics Commission.
